Helsinki Floorball Cup 2013 is successfully finished!

HFC2013 goes to the history as the biggest Floorball tournament organized in Finland till this day. The growth of the tournament has been rapid: last year 150 teams took part, but this year the amount of teams was increased to 261 teams.

The major three day event consisted of 700 matches in 24 categories and totally there were almost 5000 participants. The tournament raised interest also abroad and totally 20 foreign teams took part in the tournament.

We have co-operation with Czech Top Class Sport Events who organize Prague Games and Czech Open tournaments. As a result from the co-operation, nine HFC-winners can enter a Czech tournament without the registration fee. Read more here.

Feedback will help us towards better events

We want to continue the development of the tournament and our aim is to be able to create more interesting event for year 2014. In order to do this, the feedback from the participants and supporters is very valuable. You can send feedback to info@helsinkifloorballcup.fi

We already got some feedback during the event. This feedback was evaluated and we already now decided some improvements for HFC2014 and Junior Challenge. For example in the coming tournaments bronze medals will be awarded to the losers of the A-semifinals and the field size for E-girls and F-juniors will be 15 m x 30 m.

Helsinki Junior Challenge uplifts the spring

The next HFC-tournament will be on the spotlight in January 2014. But before that we will organize Helsinki Junior Challenge –tournament 25.-26.5.2013.
